पञ्चाक्षर-षडक्षरमन्त्र-माहात्म्यम् | The Greatness of the Pañcākṣara/Ṣaḍakṣara Mantra

यच्छ्रुत्वा जायते श्रेयो रागादीनां च संशयः । विरूपमपि तद्वाक्यं विज्ञेयमिति शोभनम्

yacchrutvā jāyate śreyo rāgādīnāṃ ca saṃśayaḥ | virūpamapi tadvākyaṃ vijñeyamiti śobhanam

Ajaran yang apabila didengar menumbuhkan kesejahteraan dan menimbulkan keraguan terhadap nafsu seperti keterikatan—hingga ia melonggarkannya—maka ucapan itu patut diterima sebagai benar dan wajar diketahui, walaupun ungkapannya tampak tidak sempurna. Inilah ukuran yang tepat dan membawa keberkatan.
