Sūta berkata: Setelah Upamanyu—sesudah memperoleh anugerah Tuhan—berkata demikian, Dewa Angin Vāyu pun bangkit menurut tata laku (niyama) yang ditetapkan, lalu menampakkan diri ketika matahari mencapai tengah hari.

It highlights the Shaiva Siddhanta emphasis that sincere discipline (niyama) becomes fruitful through Śiva’s anugraha (grace): Upamanyu’s received prasāda becomes the turning point that draws divine forces into alignment.
By naming “Bhagavān” as the giver of grace, the verse reinforces Saguna Śiva as the approachable Lord who responds to devotion and observance—core to Purāṇic Linga-worship where rites are completed by Śiva’s blessing.
It points to niyama—regular vow-bound practice—especially time-bound worship (such as midday japa or pūjā), performed with devotion and offered to Śiva, seeking not merely merit but His transforming grace.
