शिशुकस्य शिवशास्त्रप्राप्तिः (Śiśuka’s Attainment of Śaiva Teaching and Grace)
Suta Goswami (narrating Shiva’s supremacy and the Shaiva conclusion to the sages at Naimisharanya)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: A doctrinal ‘māhātmya’ statement: all siddhi—mundane and transcendent—derives from Bhava’s grace; pilgrimage and worship are meaningful insofar as they orient to Śiva-prasāda.
Type: stotra
It asserts the Shaiva Siddhanta conclusion that liberation and true fulfillment come by the anugraha (grace) of Pati—Lord Shiva; turning elsewhere keeps the bound soul (paśu) circling in pasha (bondage) and sorrow.
The Linga is the primary Saguna focus through which devotees seek Shiva’s prasada; the verse emphasizes that the decisive factor is Shiva’s grace received through steady Shiva-bhakti rather than scattered devotion to other deities.
Single-pointed Shiva-upasana—daily japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with Linga worship—seeking Bhava’s prasada to end delusion and suffering.
