पाशुपतव्रतविधिः | The Procedure of the Supreme Pāśupata Vow

सर्वांगोद्धूलनं कुर्यात्प्रणवेन शिवेन वा । ततस्त्रिपुण्ड्रं रचयेत्त्रियायुषसमाह्वयम्

Transliteration

sarvāṃgoddhūlanaṃ kuryātpraṇavena śivena vā | tatastripuṇḍraṃ racayettriyāyuṣasamāhvayam

Translation

Seseorang hendaklah menyapu abu suci ke seluruh tubuh sambil melafazkan Praṇava (Oṁ) atau nama Śiva. Sesudah itu, hendaklah dilukis Tripuṇḍra, tiga garis abu, sambil menyeru kehidupan tiga kala—masa lalu, kini, dan akan datang—agar disucikan oleh pentahbisan itu.
