ईशेच्छा च विधातृत्वं विधेराज्ञापनं परम् । आज्ञावश्यमिदं कुर्यान्न कुर्यादिति शासनम्

Transliteration

īśecchā ca vidhātṛtvaṃ vidherājñāpanaṃ param | ājñāvaśyamidaṃ kuryānna kuryāditi śāsanam

Translation

Kehendak Tuhan (Īśa) itu sendiri menjadi kuasa menetapkan; bagi Brahmā, sang pengatur kosmos, perintah-Nya adalah yang tertinggi. Hanya di bawah titah itu seseorang patut melakukan ini—atau tidak melakukan itu: demikianlah ketetapan yang memerintah.
