देवो ऽपि स्वयमायातः पुत्रदर्शनलालसः । सह देव्यांकमारोप्य ततो ऽस्य स्मेरमाननम्
devo 'pi svayamāyātaḥ putradarśanalālasaḥ | saha devyāṃkamāropya tato 'sya smeramānanam
Tuhan sendiri pun datang ke sana, rindu hendak menatap putera-Nya. Bersama Dewi, Baginda mengangkat si anak ke pangkuan-Nya, lalu memandang wajahnya yang tersenyum lembut.

It highlights Śiva’s anugraha (grace) expressed through intimate, saguna (personal) divine love—teaching that the Supreme Lord is not distant, but compassionately accessible to devotees through bhakti.
While the Liṅga points to Śiva’s transcendence (nirguṇa), this scene reveals His saguna tenderness in līlā; both are complementary—devotees worship the Liṅga while remembering the Lord’s personal grace and presence.
Practice loving remembrance (smaraṇa) of Śiva’s compassionate form while japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” optionally with tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and rudrākṣa to steady devotion and attention.
