षडध्ववेदनम् (Ṣaḍadhva-vedanam) — The Sixfold Path: Sound, Meaning, and Tattva-Distribution
Lord Shiva (as the supreme teacher in the Vāyavīyasaṃhitā’s philosophical discourse)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Dakṣiṇāmūrti
It teaches that, when the Self is rightly discerned, māyā is not the true nature of the Atman; bondage and liberation are ultimately conceptual superimpositions, resolved through Shiva-given knowledge and inquiry.
Saguna worship (Linga, mantra, and devotion) purifies the pashu (individual soul) and loosens pasha (bondage); through Shiva’s grace, the seeker realizes the truth indicated here—freedom is revealed when ignorance is removed.
Meditative vicāra (Self-inquiry) supported by Shiva-upasana—japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya), and steady remembrance of Shiva—helps dissolve the sense of bondage and mature insight toward moksha.
