“Perkara ini sendiri akan segera diperjelaskan kepadamu.” Setelah menyimpan di hati kata-kata yang membangkitkan amarah, lalu dia berkata seperti berikut.
Suta Goswami (narrating the dialogue in the Vayu Samhita context)
It highlights how anger is first formed inwardly by grasping provocative speech; Shaiva teaching stresses mastering the mind (pāśa) so the soul (paśu) can turn toward Shiva (Pati) with clarity.
Linga-worship emphasizes inner purification; restraining anger and reacting with discernment supports sattva and steadiness, making devotion to Saguna Shiva fruitful and leading toward the higher, tranquil realization of Shiva’s nature.
Practice mantra-japa (especially the Panchakshara, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and mindful silence/controlled speech; when anger arises, return attention to the mantra and breath to dissolve the impulse before speaking.
