मन्दरगिरिवर्णनम् — Description of Mount Mandara as Śiva’s Residence

Tapas-abode

भर्तुर्भोगैकशेषो हि सर्ग एवैष योषिताम् । तथासत्यन्यथाभूता नारी कुत्रोपयुज्यते

bharturbhogaikaśeṣo hi sarga evaiṣa yoṣitām | tathāsatyanyathābhūtā nārī kutropayujyate

Bagi kaum wanita, ciptaan ini dikatakan seakan tinggal satu baki sahaja—menjadi objek kenikmatan suami. Namun jika demikian pun dia masih dicap “tidak benar” dan disalahgambarkan sebagai sesuatu yang lain, di manakah wanita dapat memperoleh tempat dan pengiktirafan yang wajar?
