Pacification of Vīrabhadra and the Gods’ Hymn

Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: nurturing
It presents Śiva as Pati—the compassionate Lord—whose grace restores wholeness to beings when their powers are diminished, showing that divine completeness is regained through His anugraha (saving favor), not merely by individual effort.
The verse highlights Saguna Śiva as the personal Lord who actively protects and restores the cosmos; Linga-worship is devotion to that same Supreme who, though beyond form, becomes accessible and beneficent to devotees and devas through worship and grace.
A practical takeaway is to seek restoration through Śiva-anusandhāna: japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrākṣa as aids for steadiness, praying for inner faculties (clarity, strength, devotion) to be made whole by Śiva’s grace.
