Bhadra’s Divine Chariot-Ascent and the Conch-Blast
so 'pi tasya bhuje bhūyaḥ sūryāyutasamaprabham | visasarja śaraṃ vegādvīrabhadro mahābalaḥ
Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Vīrabhadra
The verse highlights the irresistible potency that manifests when Shiva’s will operates through a devoted agent like Vīrabhadra—symbolizing dharma’s swift correction of ego and disorder, while affirming Pati (Shiva) as the supreme governor of power.
Vīrabhadra’s blazing force reflects Saguna Shiva’s active, protective aspect—where the Lord’s grace appears as power that removes obstacles to dharma, just as Linga-worship centers on surrender to Shiva as both the transcendent and the immanent ruler.
A practical takeaway is japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with steady focus and inner speed (vega) toward Shiva, combined with cultivating humility—so one’s energy becomes disciplined rather than ego-driven.
