भद्रस्य देवसंघेषु विक्रमः

कल्पे शेषानलज्वालादग्धाविश्वजगद्यथा । तदा सवाजिनं सूर्यं रुद्रान्रुद्रगणाग्रणीः

Transliteration

kalpe śeṣānalajvālādagdhāviśvajagadyathā | tadā savājinaṃ sūryaṃ rudrānrudragaṇāgraṇīḥ

Translation

Seperti pada akhir kalpa, ketika seluruh alam semesta terbakar oleh nyala api yang memancar dari Śeṣa; pada saat itu Śiva, Pemimpin para gaṇa Rudra, menundukkan bahkan Sang Surya—bersama kuda-kuda penarik keretanya—ke bawah kuasa para Rudra.
