शिवदूतस्य शङ्खचूडकुलप्रवेशः — The Śiva-Envoy’s Entry into Śaṅkhacūḍa’s City
स त्वं देहि च देवानामधिकाराणि सर्वशः । त्वमरे गच्छ पातालं यदि जीवितुमिच्छसि
sa tvaṃ dehi ca devānāmadhikārāṇi sarvaśaḥ | tvamare gaccha pātālaṃ yadi jīvitumicchasi
Maka, engkau wajib memulangkan sepenuhnya segala hak kuasa dan jawatan yang sewajarnya milik para dewa. Wahai musuh, turunlah ke Pātāla jika engkau ingin terus hidup.
Devas (speaking collectively to an Asura/hostile opponent during the Yuddhakhaṇḍa conflict)
Tattva Level: pasha
Shiva Form: Rudra
The verse stresses restoration of rightful dharma (adhikāra) and warns that misuse of power leads to downfall; in Shaiva Siddhānta terms, order is sustained when beings act within their ordained limits under the Lord’s governance.
Though not explicitly naming the Liṅga, the Yuddhakhaṇḍa context reflects Saguna Shiva’s protection of cosmic order: devotees worship Shiva as the supreme regulator who restores balance when adharma seizes divine functions.
A practical takeaway is daily dharma-alignment through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with humility, along with Tripuṇḍra-bhasma as a reminder to restrain ego and return what is not rightfully ours.
