Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Type: stotra
It portrays bhakti as the highest spiritual force: even Siddhas—beings of attainment—are defined here by humility and praise, showing that devotion to Shiva perfects and softens the ego, aligning the soul (paśu) toward Pati (Shiva).
The imagery of fanning with white chowries and continuous stuti indicates saguna-upāsanā—personal, reverential service to the manifest Lord, the same devotional mood offered to Shiva in the Liṅga through pūjā, upacāras, and hymns.
The takeaway is sevā and stuti as daily practice: offer upacāras (service) in Shiva-pūjā and recite Shiva-stotras with a bowed, humble mind; this devotional humility is the core sādhanā implied, even without explicit mention of bhasma or rudrākṣa.
