(Description of the Dharma/Conduct of the Bhūta-Tripura) — Chapter 3
Sanatkumara
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Role: nurturing
It highlights śaraṇāgati (reverent acceptance of divine ordinance): when the devas place the command “on their head,” fear subsides, trust arises, and harmony is restored—showing that alignment with the Lord’s will brings inner reassurance and cosmic order.
Though the Liṅga is not named here, the verse reflects the Saguna principle of the Lord as the compassionate governor who reassures beings; in Liṅga-worship, devotees similarly submit their burdens at Shiva’s feet and return to daily duties steady-minded, trusting his protective grace.
A practical takeaway is mental surrender before worship: offer one’s anxieties to Shiva, then repeat the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya” with calm breathing, cultivating viśvāsa (trust) and śānti (peace) before concluding the pūjā.
