शङ्खचूडकृततपः—ब्रह्मवरकवचप्राप्तिः / Śaṅkhacūḍa’s Austerity—Brahmā’s Boon and the Bestowal of the Kavaca
वरं ब्रूहीति प्रोवाच दानवेन्द्रं विधिस्तदा । स दृष्ट्वा तं ननामाति नम्रस्तुष्टाव सद्गिरा
varaṃ brūhīti provāca dānavendraṃ vidhistadā | sa dṛṣṭvā taṃ nanāmāti namrastuṣṭāva sadgirā
Ketika itu Vidhī (Brahmā) berkata kepada raja Dānava, “Nyatakanlah anugerah yang engkau kehendaki.” Melihat baginda, raja Dānava pun menunduk sujud dengan hormat, lalu dengan rendah hati memuji-Nya dengan kata-kata mulia.
