आगच्छामि त्वत्समीपमाज्ञया ब्रह्मणोऽधुना । गांधर्वेण विवाहेन त्वां ग्रहीष्यामि शोभने

“Kini, menurut perintah Brahmā, aku datang menghadapmu. Wahai yang jelita, melalui perkahwinan Gāndharva aku akan menerima engkau sebagai isteriku.”

It highlights the role of divine ordinance (Brahmā’s ājñā) alongside personal resolve, showing that worldly rites like marriage are also framed within cosmic order (dharma) under higher governance.
Though the verse is about marriage, Rudra Saṃhitā repeatedly situates social dharma within devotion to Saguna Śiva—teaching that righteous conduct and life-stages (āśrama) can be harmonized with Shaiva devotion rather than opposed to it.
The practical takeaway is dharmic intention and purity of vow: before major life rites, one may steady the mind with Shaiva japa such as the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and seek right conduct aligned with divine will.
