FAQs

It teaches timely dharmic action: before adharma gains full strength, one must establish nīti grounded in righteousness so the jagat remains protected—preparing the field for Shiva’s restoring grace.

The verse reflects Saguna Shiva’s role as protector of cosmic order: devotees approach the Linga as the accessible form of Pati (Lord) who safeguards the world when dharma is upheld and invoked through devotion.

A practical takeaway is disciplined japa of the Panchakshara (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and Rudrāksha as supports—cultivating clarity and resolve to act in alignment with dharma.
