कैलासगमनं कुबेरसख्यं च — Śiva’s Journey to Kailāsa and His Friendship with Kubera
ब्राह्मणानां धनं तात सद्विद्या साधुसंगमः । किमर्थं न करोषि त्वं सुरुचिं प्रीतमानसः
brāhmaṇānāṃ dhanaṃ tāta sadvidyā sādhusaṃgamaḥ | kimarthaṃ na karoṣi tvaṃ suruciṃ prītamānasaḥ
Wahai anakku, kekayaan sejati para brāhmaṇa ialah ilmu yang benar dan pergaulan dengan orang suci. Maka mengapa engkau tidak memupuk cita rasa mulia dan kecenderungan yang tulus, dengan hati yang gembira serta penuh bhakti?

It defines “wealth” as inner capital—true knowledge (sadvidyā) and satsanga—implying that spiritual maturity arises from purification of understanding and character, not from external possessions.
Linga-worship becomes fruitful when supported by sadvidyā and sādhusaṅgamaḥ: right understanding of Shiva as Pati (Lord) and steady devotion to His saguna form, which gradually refines the mind toward deeper realization.
The verse points to satsanga and scriptural study as daily sādhana; practically, one may combine this with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to cultivate suruci—pure relish for dharma and Shiva-bhakti.
