FAQs

It highlights that true spiritual direction begins with single-pointed inner resolve (manasa) and reverence for disciplined tapas, showing that dharmic union is grounded in purity and self-restraint.

Though the Linga is not named here, the Satīkhaṇḍa repeatedly frames dharma, purity, and tapas as preparatory disciplines that make the mind fit for devotion to Saguna Shiva and later realization of Shiva as Pati (the Lord).

The takeaway is disciplined brahmacarya and tapas supported by mental steadiness—practically expressed through daily Sandhya practices, japa (including Panchakshara), and restraint of the senses.
