मुनेर्यज्ञावसाने तु संप्राप्ते मुनिना तु सा । प्राप्ता पुत्री वह्निमध्ये तप्तकांचनसुप्रभा
muneryajñāvasāne tu saṃprāpte muninā tu sā | prāptā putrī vahnimadhye taptakāṃcanasuprabhā
Apabila pengorbanan pendeta itu sampai ke penghujungnya, pendeta itu menerimanya sebagai anak perempuan—dia muncul dari dalam api pengorbanan, bersinar dengan kehebatan emas yang dilebur.

Sati’s emergence from the sacrificial fire signifies divine grace manifesting through purified intention; the “fire” also symbolizes inner tapas that refines the soul toward devotion to Pati (Shiva).
The verse supports Saguna-bhakti: the Divine takes approachable form within sacred rites, preparing the narrative ground for Sati’s unwavering orientation toward Shiva, the supreme Pati worshiped as Linga and as personal Lord.
It highlights yajna-like inner discipline—offering ego and impurities into the “fire” of mantra-japa (especially Panchakshara, Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and cultivating purity (śauca) as the basis of Shaiva devotion.
