दधीच-शाप-हेतु-वर्णनम् / The Cause of Dadhīca’s Curse
Explaining Viṣṇu’s Role at Dakṣa’s Sacrifice
चिरात्तपःप्रसंगाद्वै वादः क्षुवदधीचयोः । महानर्थकरः ख्यातस्त्रिलोकेष्वभवत्पुरा
cirāttapaḥprasaṃgādvai vādaḥ kṣuvadadhīcayoḥ | mahānarthakaraḥ khyātastrilokeṣvabhavatpurā
Pada zaman dahulu, kerana terlalu lama tenggelam dalam amalan tapa, timbullah pertikaian antara Kṣuva dan resi Dadhīca. Perselisihan itu masyhur di tiga alam sebagai punca mudarat yang besar.
