Explaining Viṣṇu’s Role at Dakṣa’s Sacrifice

Brahmā bersabda: Setelah mendengar kata-kata itu, Parameśvara (Dewa Śiva) berkenan hati, lalu mengurniakan kepada resi Dadhīca tiga anugerah, seraya berfirman, “Jadilah demikian.”

This verse highlights Śiva’s anugraha (gracious bestowal): when a devotee’s sincere words and intent are received, Parameśvara responds with blessings, showing that divine grace is central to spiritual upliftment in Shaiva teaching.
Parameśvara is approached as Saguna Śiva—the personal Lord who hears, becomes pleased, and grants boons. Linga-worship similarly emphasizes a living relationship of devotion where the Lord’s compassion answers the devotee’s prayer.
The takeaway is prayerful bhakti with clear intention and humility—approaching Śiva through japa (especially pañcākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and disciplined devotion, trusting in His gracious “tathāstu” (divine assent).
