सतीदेव्याः योगमार्गेण देहत्यागः — Satī’s Yogic Abandonment of the Body
कृत्वासमानावनिलौ प्राणापानौ सितानना । उत्थाप्योदानमथ च यत्नात्सा नाभिचक्रतः
kṛtvāsamānāvanilau prāṇāpānau sitānanā | utthāpyodānamatha ca yatnātsā nābhicakrataḥ
Kemudian Satī yang berwajah berseri menjadikan dua hembusan hayat—prāṇa dan apāna—seimbang sebagai samāna; lalu dengan usaha yang tekun, dia mengangkat udāna-vāyu dari pusat pusar, meneruskan laku yoga batinnya.

It describes a precise yogic inner process—balancing prāṇa and apāna into samāna and uplifting udāna—showing how disciplined prāṇāyāma steadies the mind and directs consciousness inward toward Śiva as the supreme Pati.
In the Śaiva view, outer worship (liṅga-pūjā) is strengthened by inner worship: regulating the vital airs purifies the subtle body, making the devotee fit for concentrated remembrance of Saguna Śiva and, ultimately, realization of Śiva beyond form.
A prāṇāyāma-based meditation: harmonize prāṇa and apāna (samāna-bhāva) and gently lift awareness with udāna from the navel-centre upward; it can be paired with japa of the Pañcākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) in a steady seated posture.
