शिवानुकम्पा, ब्रह्मणो निर्भयत्वं च (Śiva’s Compassion and Brahmā’s Fearlessness)
Suta Goswami (narrating to the sages at Naimisharanya)

It shows that when one abandons the madhyama-marga (balanced dharma) and turns to ego and disrespect, the result is downfall; yet Shiva (Pati) remains compassionate—his actions uphold cosmic order while his heart is moved by love.
Shambhu’s arrival “with the gaṇas” presents Saguna Shiva—the Lord with form, attendants, and divine agency—who protects dharma. Linga-worship trains the devotee in humility and reverence, the very qualities Daksha lacked.
Adopt the madhyama-marga through daily Panchakshara japa (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with Tripuṇḍra (bhasma) and a humble offering to Shiva, cultivating devotion that prevents ego-driven offense.
