विष्णोः स्तुतिः—शिवसतीरक्षावचनम्

Viṣṇu’s Hymn and the Petition for Śiva–Satī’s Protection

ब्रह्मोवाच । इत्युक्त्वा प्रिय विष्णुर्मां तदा विष्णुवचः स्मरन् । इयेष हंतुं ब्रह्माणं शूलमुद्यम्य शंकरः

brahmovāca | ityuktvā priya viṣṇurmāṃ tadā viṣṇuvacaḥ smaran | iyeṣa haṃtuṃ brahmāṇaṃ śūlamudyamya śaṃkaraḥ

Brahmā berkata: “Setelah berkata demikian, Viṣṇu yang dikasihi mengingatkan aku akan kata-kata Viṣṇu sendiri. Lalu Śaṅkara, sambil mengangkat trisula, berniat menewaskan Brahmā.”
