Completion of the Nandā-vrata and Śiva’s Direct Appearance
Kemudian Dakṣa segera bertanya kepadaku—Śiva, Tuhan segala alam—tentang sebab kedatanganku ke sana. Walaupun batinnya diliputi kegelisahan, dia tetap kelihatan gembira.
Suta Goswami (narrating the Sati-Khanda episode to the sages)

Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: nurturing
It shows the contrast between outer politeness and inner agitation: when the soul (paśu) approaches Pati (Śiva) without true surrender, ego and anxiety remain, even if one appears respectful.
Dakṣa addresses Śiva as Sarvalokeśa, affirming Saguna Shiva as the personal Lord who enters the world for divine purpose; true Linga-worship likewise requires honoring Shiva’s presence beyond mere social or ritual formality.
A practical takeaway is to approach Shiva with inner alignment—mentally repeating the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) to dissolve anxiety and ego—so outer worship matches inner devotion.
