Viṣṇu’s Manifestation and Brahmā’s Hymn
Brahmā (narrating within the Sati-khaṇḍa context)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Shakti Form: Satī
Role: creative
Cosmic Event: sṛṣṭi-ārambha (manifestation of saguṇa from nirguṇa by svātantrya)
It teaches that the transcendent Nirguṇa Śiva freely manifests as Saguṇa for the sake of cosmic order and grace, and that creation unfolds through His inseparable Śakti—pointing devotees toward the Lord who is both beyond qualities and compassionately accessible.
Since Nirguṇa Śiva becomes knowable as Saguṇa by His will, devotees can approach Him through manifest forms such as the Liṅga—worshipping the visible sign while remembering the same Lord remains ultimately beyond all attributes.
Meditate on Śiva as both Nirguṇa and Saguṇa while repeating the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”), offering bhakti to the manifest Lord (Liṅga) and contemplating His inner Śakti as the power behind all manifestation.
