Brahmā’s Enchantment by Desire during the Wedding Rites

It teaches that the cosmic functions associated with Brahmā (rajas/creation) and Viṣṇu (sattva/sustenance) operate through Shiva’s anugraha (grace), affirming Shiva as Pati—the transcendent Lord beyond the guṇas.
The Liṅga signifies Shiva as the source and support of all deities and cosmic powers; worship of Saguna Shiva acknowledges that even the guṇa-based divine offices of Brahmā and Viṣṇu depend on Shiva’s higher lordship.
Cultivate surrender (śaraṇāgati) to Shiva through japa of the Pañcākṣarī “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” offering worship with bhasma and devotion, recognizing all powers as flowing from Shiva’s grace.
