Brahmā bersabda: Setelah mendengar kata-kata sang brāhmaṇa, Menā pun berkata kepada Himālaya; matanya tidak tenang kerana dukacita, dan hatinya seakan terbakar serta luluh di dalam.
Brahma
Tattva Level: pashu
Sthala Purana: Not a Jyotirliṅga episode; the verse sets the domestic/emotional frame in Himālaya’s household after a brāhmaṇa’s pronouncement, foreshadowing the Śiva–Pārvatī marriage narrative.
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: nurturing
It shows the human side of a divine narrative: even noble hearts experience grief, yet the unfolding of Śiva’s will ultimately guides beings from emotional turmoil toward dharma and divine purpose.
The verse sets the emotional and narrative ground for Saguna Śiva’s līlā—where devotees and divine families respond in feeling, and through that process learn surrender; such surrender matures into devotion expressed in Linga-worship.
A practical takeaway is to steady grief through japa of the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and simple Śiva-smaraṇa, cultivating inner composure before making major dharmic decisions.
