Suta Goswami
Tattva Level: pashu
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Significance: Depicts saintly validation (ṛṣi-āśīrvāda) as a conduit preparing the aspirant for Śiva’s grace; communal recognition of steadfast bhakti is itself a ‘māhātmya’ marker.
Shakti Form: Pārvatī
Role: liberating
It honors Pārvatī’s unwavering niścaya (firm resolve) and shows that sincere tapas and bhakti receive the blessing of realized sages—an affirmation that steadfast devotion ripens into divine grace.
Pārvatī’s resolve is directed toward attaining Śiva; in Shaiva practice, such focused determination is expressed through Saguna worship—often via Śiva-liṅga pūjā—where devotion becomes steady and fit to receive auspicious blessings.
The takeaway is steadiness in sādhana: daily Śiva pūjā with mantra-japa (especially Panchākṣarī, “Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) and disciplined observances, performed with firm resolve like Pārvatī.
