Kemudian bangkit semula, Tāraka—raja Daitya dan pemimpin para Asura—dengan kekuatan dirinya yang melampaui batas, segera menetak hingga memutuskan cakra (cakra suci).

It highlights that raw, self-driven power (asuric strength rooted in ego) can temporarily overpower even divine instruments, but it cannot ultimately prevail against Shiva’s ordained purpose—true victory belongs to dharma and grace, not pride.
The narrative sets the stage for Shiva’s saguna intervention through his son Skanda/Kumāra: when cosmic order is threatened, devotion to Shiva (often centered on the Linga) becomes the refuge that restores balance beyond mere martial force.
A practical takeaway is to counter “asuric” tendencies (anger, pride) with japa of the Pañcākṣarī—“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”—and steadying disciplines like applying tripuṇḍra-bhasma and maintaining humility and restraint.
