Transliteration

praṇamya kārttikaṃ prītyā sarvadevarṣibhissaha | tuṣṭāva vividhasstotraiḥ śivarūpaṃ sanātanam

Translation

Dengan penuh kasih, baginda menunduk hormat kepada Kārttikeya bersama semua dewa dan para resi, lalu memuji—melalui pelbagai himne—wujud Śiva yang kekal, yang nyata padanya.
