The verse highlights auspicious saṅga (holy association): the presence of sādhvīs and revered devīs signifies purity, dharma, and devotional readiness—qualities that, in a Shaiva Siddhanta framing, support the soul’s approach toward Pati (Lord Shiva) through disciplined conduct and devotion.
By depicting a sacred procession led by Lakṣmī and other devīs, the text underscores the Purāṇic (saguṇa) mode of worship where divine beings assemble around sacred acts. Such ordered reverence mirrors how devotees approach the Śiva-liṅga with purity, attendants (upacāras), and a hierarchy of honors in ritual.
A practical takeaway is śauca and sat-saṅga: approach Śiva-pūjā with purity and a devotional mindset, beginning with respectful invocation (āvāhana) and orderly upacāras; if practicing japa, maintain disciplined conduct while repeating the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya.”
