Melihat puteranya sendiri, Dewi Śivā (Pārvatī) dipenuhi kegembiraan. Dengan kedua-dua lengannya, baginda mendakap anak itu dan, dalam sukacita, memeluknya erat.

Role: nurturing
It highlights the tenderness of Śiva-Śakti’s manifest (saguṇa) play: the Divine Mother’s embrace signifies grace (anugraha) and protection, showing that devotion is nourished through love, not fear.
Though the verse is a family-leela scene, it supports saguṇa upāsanā: devotees relate to Shiva and Shakti through accessible forms and emotions, which steady the mind and mature it toward deeper realization of Shiva’s supreme nature.
A practical takeaway is bhakti-smaraṇa: meditate on the compassionate presence of Shiva-Shakti while repeating the Pañcākṣarī mantra “Om Namaḥ Śivāya,” cultivating surrender and inner peace.
