गणेश-वाक्यं तथा गणानां समर-सन्नाहः | Gaṇeśa’s Challenge and the Mustering of the Gaṇas

Kartikeya (Skanda) or a devotee addressing Lord Shiva (inferred from Kumārakhaṇḍa dialogic praise of Śambhu)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Mahādeva
Type: stotra
It declares that Shiva’s power is self-born and freely expressed, and that his grace specifically breaks the devotee’s ego—making humility the doorway to liberation in a Shaiva Siddhanta sense (Pati dispelling the pasha of pride).
By praising Śambhu’s manifest, world-revealed power, the verse supports Saguna worship—approaching Shiva through perceivable signs such as the Linga—while remembering that the Lord remains svatantra (sovereign) beyond all limiting forms.
A practical takeaway is ego-purifying japa and surrender: repeat the Panchākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with the intention of offering pride into Shiva, supported by simple Linga-pūjā with vibhūti (tripuṇḍra) as a reminder of humility and impermanence.
