FAQs

It teaches that dharmic action (karma) matures into its proper fruit, but liberation-oriented attainment comes through samyag-jñāna—right knowledge—by which one aligns with the saintly path culminating in Shiva-realization.

In Kotirudra contexts, Linga/Jyotirlinga worship is not merely merit-making; when performed with Vedic discipline and clarified understanding of Shiva as Pati (the Lord), it becomes a doorway to samyag-jñāna rather than only worldly reward.

Steady Vedic-oriented Shiva worship—especially japa of the Panchakshara (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) with contemplation of its meaning—so that ritual merit is joined to right knowledge and inner purification.
