आ मन्द्रमा वरेण्यमा विप्रमा मनीषिणम् । पान्तमा पुरुस्पृहम् ॥

Transliteration

ā́ mandrám ā́ váreṇyam ā́ vípram ā́ manīṣíṇam | pā́ntam ā́ puru-spṛ́ham ||

Translation

Bawalah kepada kami Yang Menggetarkan (mandra), Yang Paling Terpilih (vareṇya); bawalah kepada kami sang ṛṣi yang terilham, sang pemikir bijaksana—yang terpelihara dan banyak didambakan; datanglah kepada kami.
