अत्यूर्मिर्मत्सरो मदः सोमः पवित्रे अर्षति । विघ्नन्रक्षांसि देवयुः ॥
Transliteration
atyū́rmir matsaró mádaḥ sómaḥ pavítre arṣati | vi-ghnán rakṣā́ṃsi deva-yúḥ ||
Translation
Soma—gelombang ekstasi dan kegirangan yang melimpah—mengalir melalui penyuci (pavitra), memecah-belahkan kuasa gelap yang memusuhi; kerana ia merindu kepada para dewa, kepada kehidupan ilahi.
