आगन्म वृत्रहन्तमं ज्येष्ठमग्निमानवम् । यस्य श्रुतर्वा बृहन्नार्क्षो अनीक एधते ॥

Transliteration

ā́ganma vṛtrahántamaṃ jyéṣṭham agním ā́navaṃ | yásya śrutárvā bṛhánn ārkṣó anī́ke édhaté ||

Translation

Kami telah datang kepada Agni yang paling pembunuh Vṛtra, yang tertua, Agni yang purba namun baharu; yang kekuatannya—mendengar jauh, luas—bertumbuh di hadapan penzahiran.
