अरा इवेदचरमा अहेव प्रप्र जायन्ते अकवा महोभिः । पृश्नेः पुत्रा उपमासो रभिष्ठाः स्वया मत्या मरुतः सं मिमिक्षुः ॥

arā́ ivéd ácaramā áhéva prá-pra jā́yante ákavā máhobhiḥ | pṛ́śneḥ putrā́ upamā́so rábhiṣṭhāḥ sváyā matyā́ marútaḥ sáṃ mimikṣuḥ ||

Seperti jejari roda, sesungguhnya tidak mengenal lelah; seperti ular, mereka lahir berulang-ulang, tidak lemah, dengan kebesaran-kebesaran mereka. Putera-putera Pṛśni, tiada bandingan, paling tangkas—dengan fikiran mereka sendiri, para Marut menyatukan diri menjadi satu daya.
