Sukta 10.91
तमोषधीर्दधिरे गर्भमृत्वियं तमापो अग्निं जनयन्त मातरः । तमित्समानं वनिनश्च वीरुधोऽन्तर्वतीश्च सुवते च विश्वहा ॥
tám oṣádhīr dadhire gárbham ṛtviyáṃ tám ā́po agníṃ janayanta mātáraḥ | tám ít samānám vanínaś ca vīrúdho ’ntárvatīś ca súvate ca viśváhā ||
Herba-herba menatang Dia sebagai janin yang tepat pada musimnya (ṛtviyam); Perairan—para Ibu—melahirkan Agni itu. Yang Satu itu, sentiasa sama, dibawa lahir oleh pepohon dan sulur-sulur, pertumbuhan yang sarat mengandung, dan digerakkan tanpa henti, sepanjang masa.
