इमां मे अग्ने समिधं जुषस्वेळस्पदे प्रति हर्या घृताचीम् । वर्ष्मन्पृथिव्याः सुदिनत्वे अह्नामूर्ध्वो भव सुक्रतो देवयज्या ॥

Transliteration

imā́ṃ me agne samídhaṃ juṣasvélaspadé práti haryā ghṛtā́cīm | várṣman pṛthivyā́ḥ sudinatvé ahnām ūrdhvó bhava sukrato devayajyā́ ||

Translation

Terimalah penyalaan ini daripadaku, wahai Agni; di tempat duduk Iḷā bergembiralah pada persembahan yang bersinar ghee. Di ketinggian Bumi, dalam keluasan hari-hari yang cerah, bangkitlah ke atas—wahai yang berakal-budi benar—menuju pemujaan bagi Yang Ilahi.
