कुर्मस्त आयुरजरं यदग्ने यथा युक्तो जातवेदो न रिष्याः । अथा वहासि सुमनस्यमानो भागं देवेभ्यो हविषः सुजात ॥

Sanskrit recitationRig Veda 10.51.7

kúrmás ta ā́yur ajáraṃ yád agne yáthā yuktó jātavedo ná riṣyā́ḥ | áthā vahāsi su-manasyámāno bhāgáṃ devébhyo havíṣaḥ sujāta ||

Kami menegakkan bagimu hayat yang tidak menua, wahai Agni, agar terpasang dengan tepat, wahai Jātavedas, engkau tidak ditimpa mudarat. Lalu, dengan hati yang berkenan, engkau membawa kepada para dewa bahagian mereka daripada havis, wahai yang mulia kelahiranmu.
