Sukta 10.25
उत व्रतानि सोम ते प्राहं मिनामि पाक्या । अधा पितेव सूनवे वि वो मदे मृळा नो अभि चिद्वधाद्विवक्षसे ॥
utá vratā́ni soma te práhaṃ mināmi pā́kyā | ádhā pitéva sūnáve ví vo máde mṛḷā no abhí cid vadhā́d vívakṣase ||
Bahkan segala warta (vrata) Mu pun, wahai Soma, telah aku langgar—kerana kebodohan kanak-kanak. Maka, seperti bapa kepada anaknya, dalam ekstasi suci-Mu (mada) kasihanilah kami; peliharalah kami bahkan daripada hentaman hukuman, kerana Engkau menghendaki pertumbuhan kami.
