अयं हि ते अमर्त्य इन्दुरत्यो न पत्यते । दक्षो विश्वायुर्वेधसे ॥

ayáṃ hí te amártya índur átyo ná pátyate | dákṣo viśvā́yur véḍhase ||

Inilah sesungguhnya bagi-Mu, wahai Yang Abadi: titisan Soma (Indu), seperti kuda yang pantas, meluru ke hadapan. Ia ialah daya yang menilai dengan tajam, penyangga segala hayat, bagi Sang Rsi-Pengamal (Vedhas).
