Sukta 10.127

Devata: Rātrī

नि ग्रामासो अविक्षत नि पद्वन्तो नि पक्षिणः । नि श्येनासश्चिदर्थिनः ॥

Sanskrit recitationRig Veda 10.127.5

ní grāmā́so avikṣata ní padvánto ní pakṣíṇaḥ | ní śyenā́saś cid arthínaḥ ||

Penempatan telah berhenti; para pejalan dan yang bersayap pun berhenti; bahkan helang-helang (śyena) yang mencari sasarannya pun menahan diri. Demikianlah, semoga segala dorongan gelisah dalam diri kami ditenteramkan ke dalam tatanan Malam (Rātri).
