न्यक्रन्दयन्नुपयन्त एनममेहयन्वृषभं मध्य आजेः । तेन सूभर्वं शतवत्सहस्रं गवां मुद्गलः प्रधने जिगाय ॥

nyàkrandayann upayánta enam améhayan vṛṣabháṃ mádhya ājéḥ | téna sū́bharvaṃ śatávatsahásraṃ gávāṃ múdgalaḥ pradháne jigāya ||

Mereka menghalaunya dengan sorak ketika mendekat; mereka membuat sang lembu jantan melepaskan tenaganya di tengah gelanggang. Dengan tenaga itu Mudgala memenangi ganjaran yang kaya—lembu beratus-ratus dan beribu-ribu—dalam pertempuran penentu.
