Transliteration

īḷé dyā́vāpṛthivī pū́rva-cittaye ’gníṃ gharmáṃ su-rúcaṃ yā́mann iṣṭáye | yā́bhir bháre kārám aṃśā́ya jínvathas tā́bhir ū́ ṣú ūtíbhir aśvínā ā́ gatam ||

Translation

Aku memuja Langit dan Bumi (Dyāvā-Pṛthivī) demi terjaganya kesedaran purba; aku memuja Agni—bahang yang menyala, cahaya yang indah—dalam perjalanan menuju penyempurnaan yang dihajati. Dengan pertolongan-pertolongan yang dengannya kamu berdua menyuburkan karya si penyanyi agar mendapat bahagiannya daripada kenikmatan, dengan bantuan-bantuan yang pantas itu, wahai Aśvin, datanglah ke mari.
