Transliteration
ukthám índrāya śáṃsyaṃ várdhanaṃ puruniṣṣídhe | śakró yáthā sutéṣu no rāránat sakhyéṣu ca ||
Translation
Sebuah uktha (madah-ucapan ilham) bagi Indra—layak diisytiharkan—penambah daya bagi Kuasa yang banyak-menunaikan; agar Yang Perkasa, dalam soma yang kami curahkan, berkenan dan bersukacita, dan juga dalam amalan persahabatan kami.
